TOPIC: THE WATERFRONT PROJECT

Concerns/Issues/Questions

Referred to, if applicable

Follow up, as received, if applicable

Has there been a market study on the number of condos in Oshkosh; a breakdown of how many there are under $100,000, between $100-150,000 and over $150,000; and the number of current vacancies?

Jackson Kinney, Community Development Director

The developer will conduct whatever market study that may be deemed appropriate in order to gauge the existing market.  Akcess is working closely with an experienced realty firm who has a very good handle on the housing market including the condo market in the community.  We need to remember that a new condo development on the river would offer a different product than anything currently on the market in this community.

Can you give an update as to the status of the revisions to the Zoning Ordinances?

Jackson Kinney, Community Development Director

Planning Director Darryn Burich informed the Plan Commission at its meeting on Tuesday June 19th that he expects to bring forward revisions to the off street parking regulations in July.  I believe other changes will be brought forward as the year progresses.
