                                                            Community Orientation Tours will be hosted by Department Heads of the City. Candidates should be at the City Hall main entrance at 215 Church Street ten minutes prior to the start of the tour.  Your spouse is welcome and encouraged to accompany you on the tour.

                                                            The interviews will be conducted in the City Manager’s Office Conference Room on the first floor of the Oshkosh City Hall, located at 215 Church Street in Oshkosh.  Candidates should arrive approximately 10 minutes early for their interview.

8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.                    CANDIDATE MEETING WITH DEPARTMENT HEADS

                                                            All candidates will meet with the Department Heads of the City in small group sessions.  The meetings will take place in the Council Chambers on the fourth floor of the Oshkosh City Hall, located at 215 Church Street in Oshkosh.  Candidates should arrive approximately 10 minutes early for the meetings.

10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.                  DEPARTMENT HEAD FEEDBACK TO COMMON COUNCIL

 

10:30 A.M. – 11:30 a.m.                 COMMUNITY FORUM

A Community Forum will be held with all Candidates in the Council Chambers in City Hall.  The Candidates will be asked to respond to two questions in a group setting followed by informal interaction with citizens.

                                                           

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.                  CITIZEN FEEDBACK TO COMMON COUNCIL

                                                            Common Council members will be available for informal feedback from citizens participating in the Community Forum.

 

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.                    COMMON COUNCIL SECOND INTERVIEW SELECTION (IF NEEDED)

                                                            The Common Council will meet in the City Manager’s Office for deliberation and selection of candidates for second interviews.  A lunch will be served during the deliberation.

 

2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.                      SECOND INTERVIEWS WITH COMMON COUNCIL (IF NEEDED)

                                                            Second interviews with selected candidates will be held in the City Manager’s Office on the first floor of City Hall.

CHOICES FOR OSHKOSH LODGING for out-of-area Candidates are listed below.  Candidates may confirm their reservations and submit receipts to the City for reimbursement.  Reservations have been made by the City

CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES will be conducted in the Oshkosh City Hall, located at 215 Church Street in Oshkosh.  Candidates should arrive approximately 10 minutes early for their interview and other activities.

 

EVALUATION OF CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS AND SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR A SECOND INTERVIEW.  Candidates should be available to the Consultant around 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7 regarding possible invitation for a second interview with the Mayor. All Candidates will be contacted and informed of the status of their candidacy at that time.

 

EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT for costs incurred by out-of-area Candidate and spouse for travel, meals, rental cars and incidental expenses will be reimbursed upon Candidate’s submittal of expense itemization to:
